“SOMOS HERMANOS”
SONG/VIDEO REMAKE UNITES MORE THAN 30 ARTISTS.

AARP and LatinPointe announce today that more than 30 Latin recording artists will come together Friday December 3, to record “Somos Hermanos” (We Are Brothers) a song dedicated to raise awareness of hunger in the Latino community.
The song “Somos Hermanos,” was written by the late Luis Silva, for the historic 1985 Tejanos for Hunger Aid CD project. Acclaimed producer Gilbert Velasquez, artist Chente Barrera, and 30th Annual Tejano Music Awards Executive Producer David Chavez have collaborated with AARP to re-launch the campaign during the holiday season.
The recording of the video will take place at Keith Harter Studios on Friday December 3. The video and song will be available through AARP’s -
